This weekend my fiancé and I went a spontaneous 24 hour trip to Chicago to catch a Cubs game.
Just a little back story... one of the things that makes our relationship amazing is the fact that we both love sports especially baseball. We both have a bucket list to catch a game in every single ball park in the MLB.
We are now up to 11 :) Okay anyways so we arrived to Chicago on Saturday and toke the subway to downtown Chicago and I just loved the city immediately. Its very big downtown vibe with cheerful and kind people. I wanted to see the very popular tourist spot - Millennium Park.
After we toke pictures there we walked around the city a little bit and went hopped on the subway to catch the game.
Walking into Wrigley Field was magical and like a time capsule. It truly is a sight to see. The fans were fun, loyal and die hard Cubs fans. The stadium is caught in time with its stadium style old seating and feel but it has hints of modernization with restaurants and bars.
It was a great night for baseball. We saw two home runs, ate typical baseball food (hot dog, hamburger and fries) and the Cubs won!

I love the city of Chicago and definitely want to go back again very soon!
Subscribe to my Youtube channel to catch my vlog that will be up this week.
Next time I go I have to hang around the city and check out some hot spots to eat! Didn't get to try deep dish pizza and thats on the top of my list.
Hope you guys had a great weekend and if your from Chicago or have been leave me some great places to check out for my next trip.
