Hey dolls <3 I'm happy to have my first beauty review of the new year for you guys!!! I couldn't wait to get my greedy chubby fingers on this product. This is the Maybelline Instant Pore Eraser. Some have said that it is a dupe for the Benefit Porefessional. I have never owned the Porefessional so I can't compare the two but I can give you the dirt about this little cutie.
The Pore Eraser is described to blur your pores. This means that it will give the illusion of minimizing your pores. It will make your pores seem vague in a sense. It is also both non-comedogenic and fragrance free. Non-comedogenic means its a formula intended to not clog your pores and are usually oil free.
Application: I applied this two ways. 1.)was alone. A fresh face. No foundation, makeup zip.
2.) was under my foundation. Using it alone with no makeup on I have to say my face looked great. I was really happy with it. My pores weren't huge my skin looked great and also it did reduce some of my redness around the apples of my cheeks. When I applied it with makeup on I first moisturized my face and then applied it. I let it sit on my face for a couple minutes before I applied my foundation. It gave me the same result: amazing skin.
Packing: The packaging is freakin adorable in my eyes. Its very similar to the baby lips lettering and colors. It has .67 FL oz. A little goes a long way. You don't want to put too much on anyways. Mine came in the regular plastic packaging that you throw away once you open it but I saw other girls show that theirs came in a box type package. Im jealous :/
Texture: At first it feels weird. Its a clear formula but it feels thick and heavy. It also feels that there are little pieces of particles in it. But when you begin to rub it into your skin the formula changes and it begins to feel soft and smooth. I was really impressed with that.
Overall: I would definitely recommend this product to you dolls. It retails for $5.99 at Target and probably Walmart as well. I'm sure drugstores jacked up the price but if you find a Buy One Get one 50% then its worth it.
