Happy Friday dolls! It is finally the weekend and although the weather is not great I am still grateful for another day! Summer is almost here and I only have 27 more days until Puerto Rico so I have been trying to cut back on fatty foods and eat healthier. However when you get cravings especially on your time of the month its hard to just sit there with cramps and eat carrots. I looked on Pinterest and I found some delicious recipes making granola bites. You can literally make them a million different ways but since I am on my period I wanted chocolate incorporated someway.
I wanted to share them fun size bites with you for a healthier snack that is delicious and packs an energetic punch. They are so convenient if you are an on the go person. Throw some in a zip lock bag and your out the door. Also they only take 30 minutes to make and can make up to 18-20!
check out the recipe below for this one and I will post more recipes with different ingredients. If you try them out make sure to tag me on instagram or tag me in a different recipe! Have a great weekend!
Ingredients:
1 cup of rolled oats
1/3 cup of honey
1/2 cup of almond butter or organic peanut butter
1/2 cup of mini chocolate chips or dark chocolate chips
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup chia seeds
1 cup of coconut flakes
Process:
Mix all your ingredients in a bowl and then place the bowl into the refrigerator for 30 mins. Take the bowl out and with a cookie scoop make about 18-20 bite size smalls. Thats it! Enjoy!
These look yummy and a perfect quick snack. xo ~ Megan The Fashionista Momma
